1. The mission of UN is to supplement classroom learning by providing students with an online community to exchange notes and ideas about class. Note forums, test banks, and online communication with other students give members a higher chance to succeed in whatever curriculum they choose.
2. UN is not intended to replace regular class attendance, but to provide students with a unique setting to further their understanding of a subject through additional documentation, notes, and interaction with fellow students.
3. It is the responsibility of each and every individual student to maintain and upkeep classroom attendance, regular study habits, and classroom participation. As noted above, UN is a supplemental information provider, and merely serves as an avenue to gain pertinent information regarding the topics studied in class and acts as a guide, where available, in studying by providing how the information has been tested in the past.
4. Although UN attempts to keep the most up-to-date information as feasibly possible, the site does not replace student-professor interaction and should not be used in any way as a guide, syllabus, or classroom replacement. The most relevant course information can only be attained in classroom and UN greatly supports everyday classroom attendance and participation.
5. The test banks provided by UN are composed of tests on reserve, previous tests donated by past students, tests given back to students to keep, tests uploaded by other users, and tests given by professors. The tests provided by this site are intended to act as a guide for how professors have tested the topics under study in the past. However, the composition of course tests are always at the sole discretion of the course professor and information regarding the test should always be obtained from your current professor. The UN makes no claim to the creation of the tests hosted on its site.
6. UN attempts to screen everything on the UN website and to vouch for its validity. However, any information, especially notes, information, and documentation freely posted by students in the designated notes area, test banks, and message boards, should always be checked for validity by other fellow classmates and/or the professor. The online notes section is in place to provide for a convenient and easily accessible location for students to gain supplemental classroom information, eliminate losses of course topics due to missed attendance, increase peer-to-peer classroom communication, and to cut down on disposable resources such as overused and abused paper copies, etc.
7. UN in no way accepts, approves, or supports any form of cheating by any of its members. CHEATING is a serious offense and any obvious and recognized forms of it will be struck down by UN as soon as possible. Members caught attempting to gain information on missed tests or any other recognizable form in any way from other members with any desired advantage will have their membership to UN terminated and any information provided by them removed from the UN website at the sole discretion of UN and University Notes, L.L.C. Dependant upon the form, nature, and method of CHEATING, UN can/will, upon its sole discretion, contact the University and/or take any legal actions provided copyright, distribution, and/ or exporting laws have been infringed. If you are a witness of any form of cheating or attempted cheating, it is of your responsibility to notify system administrators as soon as possible.
